100 MILE MHA COVID SAFETY PLAN

Your safety is our highest priority

Safety Plan as updated October 29, 2021

Return to Sport  CHART ReStart ViaSport

Dear Membership

Due to the recent PHO regarding gatherings and events posted October 27, 2021, effective IMEMDIATELY, 100 Mile MHA will be asking for Proof of Vaccination at the door, for all spectators and volunteers (including Coaches, Managers, Safety Trainers, Scorekeepers, Timekeepers & Security) 12 years of age and older. This will exclude registered participants up to the age of 18 or those up to the age of 18 acting in a volunteer capacity (ie: players, on ice helpers, officials, etc).

Acceptable Proof of double Vaccination includes the BC Vaccine Card (electronic or paper) as well as a secondary piece of Government Issued ID for everyone over the age of 18. Children between the ages of 12-18 only require the BC Vaccination card.

We will be doing VISUAL checks only and not requiring our volunteers to download the BC Vaccine Card Verifier App.

Capacity restrictions have been lifted and we are back at 100% capacity (no longer 50 spectator limits)

Once again, we appreciate the time and effort put forth from our volunteers. Our Volunteers are following the Provincial Health Orders set forth by our Province. This is not something that 100 Mile & District Minor Hockey has implemented on it’s own. We will not tolerate any abusive actions taken towards our volunteers in regards to Proof of Vaccinations. We ask for your patience as we navigate yet another hurdle in this fight against Covid-19.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our membership and look forward to carrying on with a successful 2021-2022 season.
